Tudgay???

been looked at by premiership clubs.

Don't think he's the 25 goal a season man we need. Just had a look and his best season to date produced 14 goals.

In order:
Gary Hooper!! (when Scunthorpe come down, they will!)
Mackail-Smith.
Simeon Jackson.
Le Fondre.
Oh and as we will surely be looking at 2 strikers if Forster as expected does leave, then someone on loan like Mcgoldrick, Joel Garner etc etc....

I have a hunch that Billy Sharp is a bit of a professional Northerner. Scunny, Sheffield United, Doncaster...he's scored loads of goals for Donny and they're desperate to sign him so he must be about 90% certain to sign for them. And if not them, more likely another Northern club.

I'd have thought Cox would want to give it another go with West Brom, although you wonder what will happen to him if and when WBA go up, as I can't see him as a Premier League striker. He's more likely to end up back at Reading than drop down to League One however.

Beckford is pie in the sky, I don't think he's as good as he's been made out to be, but a club of at least Championship level will surely take a punt whether Leeds go up or not because his agent will ensure it. Austin is a ridiculous idea, even if Swindon don't go up, why would he want to leave them for a club at the same standard, particularly one who showed the faith to pick him out of non-league. I could see him leaving Swindon but not for us.

Tudgay has always been a bit crap for my money, I don't fancy him much, whether he's from Worthing or not. Maybe Jackson would be worth a punt, assuming the likes of Southampton don't hoover him up along with all the other useful strikers in League One as they are prone to doing. I do like Gary Hooper too, and Mackail-Smith. Peterborough look all over the place, he might fancy a change.

Would offer plenty of height, and pace to burn. But on the down side, he is 58 these days.

Mackail-Smith would be qualla, as well as Maclean. If Posh rate Dicko as highly as people say, surely a swap plus cash deal is not out of the question?

Either of those two, playing alongside Muzza, would utterly destroy this league.

How about Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia from Real Mallorca.

Robust enough to do well in England.

I doubt Dickinson will stay with Peterborough now that Gannon has gone. Slade might fancy him at Orient, but I'd imagine the Albion would want a reasonable fee given what we paid for Dickinson. Orient probably don't have the cash.

We'll get £100k maximum for him as he was a mistake, he loves himself, he is a bit fat, and a bit shit.

Bit fat? He's one of the most lightweight strikers I've seen considering he's 6ft4.

Other than that you're correct.

I reckon it'll be another Calderon style signing, a complete unknown to English football who takes the league by storm.
