Exactly thisf***’s sake. It’s always been loud enough, but never been clear enough
Good point, well made. Hasty editSurely, by the nature of football, every goal is a 'scorer' goal?
Spot on. That will be the real gauge of how improved the system really is. Volume was not the issue but just clarity. Admittedly, I am upper west but I usually give up on pitch side interviews.I am very much hoping the PA will be clearer when they do the interviews of previous players etc. I cannot usually make out much at all which is frustrating. For what it's worth, I thought it was clearer but I wasn't up in the gods in my usual lofty position.
The next logical step is to merge the two, new sound system would be perfect for this:Why? It’s been done to death at every sporting event going.
I would prefer something unique to the Albion if they have to drown out the fans clapping and singing naturally. A crappy dance track wifh Neil Diamond played straight after is pants.
Happy with that
Some good toons played yesterday - High Flying Birds, Franz Ferdinand, couple of Fat Boy jobs and yes, Sanctuary from the Cult.Actually I like The Cult so it's okay for now...
We're told the club monitor NSC. Which is almost certainly the case. It's certainly the case with Archbishop @chaileyjem, PBOBE's emissary on earth. If the club are are smart they can monitor this thread and head off much of the valid criticism of the sound system(s) earlydoorsSo many Debbie downers on this thread after the club have invested in a new sound system. You lot are going to have a field day when the fanzone opens. I'm guessing it'll either be too expensive, too busy, not enough choice, queues too long or perhaps it's too cold in the winter
Or they could just be thinking, what a bunch of moaners. Can't do right for doing wrong. It's either too quiet, not clear enough, too loud. We're told the club monitor NSC. It has to be a hell of a lot better than the QPR one week Sat last.Wow. Loud. Louder than our fans on almost every occasion. But there again I'm firmly middle aged and would prefer some Mozart or Mahler.
You are clearly missing that many posts are light-hearted and tongue in cheek. I am sorry we are having a little moan about your new sound system Mr Barber.Or they could just be thinking, what a bunch of moaners. Can't do right for doing wrong. It's either too quiet, not clear enough, too loud.
He will be loving hearing his own voice in a loud clear way.Oh great, Reynolds in HD Audio
Your apology is accepted. Also, for the record, we are keeping 'Hey Jude' prematch too as its a fan favourite. I know it's been ridiculed on NSC for years. You are clearly missing that many posts are light-hearted and tongue in cheek. Mainly on account of the na na na nananana's being nonsensically displayed in bright orange on the advertising hoardingsYour apology is accepted. Also, for the record, we are keeping 'Hey Jude' prematch too as its a fan favourite. I know it's been ridiculed on NSC for years.
Well, now see, that is tinpot. Is that new a new thing or have I've missed it through zoning myself out while Hey Jude gees up the away fans?Mainly on account of the na na na nananana's being nonsensically displayed in bright orange on the advertising hoardings
They've been doing it a few years now.Well, now see, that is tinpot. Is that new a new thing or have I've missed it through zoning myself out while Hey Jude gees up the away fans?
Oh crikey, well now I'm not going to be able to not see it.They've been doing it a few years now.
Strange that because I’m in ESU and plenty around me out of the ten left joining inIn the North Stand maybe but I don’t notice much of a singalong in the East Upper. Mind you, with the age demographic of EU, a lot of things pass us by.
