I heard a rumor the new cards contain a GPS chip in them, and for every minute the holder arrives late/leaves early, they will be deducted one loyalty point.
I skim read this and assumed it was the usual one for new ST holders only.
Bit miffed about this as I paid for a new one about 3 months ago
I still don't understand why they wait till the last possible moment to send these out.
Why did you pay for a new one? any faulty cards will be replaced by the club for free.
There was a small loophole in the transport system. In theory someone who has changed seats could pass there old season ticket on to a non-footballing associate who they could meet in town after the game. I have no idea if anyone has actually ever done this, but new cards all round would close this off.
Why would it?
They'll stop accepting the old ones for travel ? (Means they'll need to start looking at them of course)
I showed the bus driver my Boots Advantage card after an evening match

Yeah they will have to be a totally different design then, and even then, would bus drivers, station staff etc. know what to look for?
Wallet was stolen- not covered

LOL. Not sure I've ever shown a ticket at all........if you're wearing any form of colours they just seem to let you through anyway. Maybe the checking is about to get more stringent

Hope not.
I quite often flash my Albion season ticket to the bus driver on Saturdays when we're playing away and just say "matchday travel", to blag a freebie ride. After all, that day IS a matchday. The fact we're playing up in Yorkshire or something is of no relevance. The driver barely glances at it and probably doesn't know or care whether we're home or away.
Works for me.
Driver must be an IDIOT. We hardly EVER played on a Saturday last season.

I bet you don't...
Well...I do.
But I wasn't planning on opening a book on it.
