Ha ha, “few more clicks of the mouse…”

As if it’s always that easy!! How many times have I heard that from someone in IT?!! The seamless fantasy digital world where it’s all so quick and hassle free :) “Just…” “Simply…” etc.

What isn't easy? Go to buy the ticket, at the page before check out you assign it to the person from drop down menu which has a list of people on your F&F. Done. Admittedly you have to add them to your F&F but that isn't arduous and only needs to be done once and takes a minute.

No, it was your remark about it just being a few more clicks that made me laugh. Sometimes that can turn into a problem requiring hours to resolve. Issue after issue presented. You must be alone in this world if never experienced on a website, never mind the Albions which isn’t world leading.

Long overdue change - surprised has taken this long

Years ago when Ticket Exchange just started and I had a ST I listed and sold a ticket in WSL to Chelsea at home

It was bought by ST holder in East Stand for his Chelsea fan mate - who got thrown out for upsetting everyone around him

Next game I went to in WSL I got loads of abuse from everyone around me who it turned out had complained to club that I had sold my ticket direct to a Chelsea fan on a black market site etc

As a result three stewards at next game I went to wanted to throw me out and ban me for selling ticket on black market

When all I had done was sell in on Ticket Exchange

To be purchased by another ST holder on behalf of his "mate"

I only found out what had really happened when I complained to the club about stewards wanting to take my ST off me ( back in the day when was ST cards )

Blimey did you get out of bed on the wrong side or something? Or are you just naturally grumpy and pessimistic?

Glad IT works 100% of the time quickly and easily with no more than “a few more clicks” ever the only inconvenience to you. What a charmed digital life you lead to have never experienced an online problem. Are the traffic lights always on green too when you drive along?

Does this mean we are no longer responsible for our guests behaviour if they are now a named individual?

How is it gone from talking about a specific thing (guests needing to be named) to a general rant about technology? Are you actually Victor Meldrew?

Wow that's proper shit, didn't the dullard stewards know of the existence of the ticket exchange? Must have been tough also going back to sit next to idiots who had all jumped to the wrong conclusions as well

It was explained, and all light hearted enough. You then responded and began name calling / being rude so let’s just leave there.

I don’t think stewards have anywhere near that kind of power if they do then the club should be questioned.

I think it's a good move that tickets need to be assigned but pretty naff that season tickets get same priority as members now. A downgraded benefit for STHs so the club can try and get more MA+ members, classic

As long as it costs nothing to change the name on the ticket should the person you have bought the ticket for be unable to attend then I'm fine with it.

However, I'd rather the club find a way to actually fill the waves of empty seats at some games. Perhaps by allowing STHs to resell their tickets earlier and by proactively prompting STHs to resell their tickets if they are not attending.

And wouldn't it be great to see the club allow us to donate tickets to people who are out of work. Lewes do a scheme through a local food bank which allows you to purchase a ticket for someone who can't afford the entry price themselves.
or even better allow us to give our season ticket to a friend or relative that's registered -has fan number etc, as i was ill wanted to give man city at home to my son who has a fan number and history to be told no
i have to give it up
he has to go and buy it
jeez

Quick question. I want to buy 2 guest tickets tomorrow, using mine and my son’s ST guest allocation. Will I have to sign in to my account buy one ticket, sign out, sign in to sons account, and try and buy seat next to it?
Surely not…?

Use two devices if you’re worried about not being able to get two tickets together

That’s what the new rules say.

Just seen £70 for a Man Utd ticket in EU. They must be delighted if people cant attend and put on exchange especially OAPs
