A suspension or an injury and we have no cover for CB, Gus said when he sold Elphick that he'd want another...obviously not as urgent as the striker

Wenger, the Arsenal manager, has agreed to offload midfielder Lansbury to the Championship club after accepting Forest's bid over the weekend.
Lansbury, 21, was in talks with Forest before their Capital One Cup game with Wigan Athletic and is expected to officially complete his move on Wednesday.

One striker, one midfielder in, 1 goalie out, 1 midfielder out, 1 defender out...just my take though.
Wouldn't be suprised to see a fair bit of activity. A centre back to replace Elphick, a centre mid to give Dicker competition/provide cover if Bridcutt gets injured, maybe a winger (remember we had Assulin last season) who attacks with craft rather than pace and a striker or two.

I have a horrible feeling that we are going to be frustrated come 11pm Friday. Can't see anyone influential leaving but everything has gone very very quiet on potential signings, unless we've just run out of rumours to start.

Probably will wait til January now,seems we are not desperate although the central midfield area is a problem if crofts gets injured,we would have no creativity what's so ever

Nightmare for me is a big offer for Liam B one that we have to accept reluctantly. Danger clubs that need him being Villa and maybe Norwich. Then we get caught in a chain for a striker. If this happens I think we can add loan players with a view to sign in new year after Friday's deadline
? Like others - striker and big unit in midfield, although Gus has been talking about a specialist centre half?
Maybe we will ship out more than we bring in once the transfer and loan windows close?

With Harley improving and Buckley and Vicente not yet fit I would think that we could be covered and in an emergency Calde could play as an attacking midfielder but hardly anybody could over Bridcutt.
