******breaking news from twitter********

Brighton & Hove Albion manager, Gus Poyet, is close to coaxing former Chelsea team mate, Frank Leboeuf, out of retirement by offering him a 3-year contract

exciting!

I heard we're also close to signing Nigerian left back Celestine Babayaro.

Seriously, though- it would be nice if we could make some signings today, we were meant to make two by the end of last week!

In other news, the illegitimate son of Argentina boss Diego Maradonna, Diego Sinagra, is having a trial at an unnamed English side from the south coast, managed by an unnamed south american. Sinagra is said to have impresed the unnamed south american in the last beach soccer world cup

It could still happen today. Hopefully they are all training this morning and any new signings will be unveiled this afternoon. We seem to be very close (if not certain) to signing Sparrow and hopefully more will join soon. It would be good after yesterday's result to have some good news though.

Put it this way , can you see Diego Maradona's son joining us ?

Considering how bad he seems to be (Serie D experiencee!!!)it might just be possible.... but more likely Crawley I think.
