Update from Daily Mail.

"Kemy Agustien, meanwhile, could leave the Liberty Stadium within the next week, according to his agent.
The midfielder has been told by Michael Laudrup that he is not part of his plans for the forthcoming season and his representative, Wessel Weezenberg, confirmed to Sportsmail on Monday that Brighton have expressed a serious interest in signing the 26-year-old.
Blackpool and Ipswich are also understood to be considering moves for the Dutchman.
Weezenberg said: ‘There are several clubs who are interested in Kemy and he is keen to go because he needs to play.
‘Brighton are very keen, but Kemy needs to make the right choice. In terms of playing philosophy, Brighton would be good but we have to wait and see.’
Weezenburg disputed reports that Agustien was already training at Brighton, who have not yet made a formal offer, but indicated his future could be settled quickly.
He said: ‘I don’t know yet where he will go as there is a lot to be decided, but he could move in the next week if things go well. The Championship starts soon so those teams are looking, but of course Kemy would still like to play in the Premier League.’

Agustien has one year remaining on the two-year deal he signed in May 2012.

To be fair to the Argus, they never said online ,in the paper, or via AN's tweets that the signing was "imminent". so the title of this thread has always been a tad misleading.

Think this one has gone on too long now.

His agent seems to want to tout him out, which is fair enough, but it means this one will drag out until transfer deadline day.

As you say his agent is certainly touting him around and I am not sure we can wait for him and wouldn't think his plane trip today will be to brighton. Think this is a none runner. Would really like to see some movement this week, but looking very unlikely which is a shame.

he cannot drive and it's easier to fly to Gatwick than train it and these things take time be patient
