It depends if Paul Hart makes some sort of miraculous recovery like that of the Slade era, But if not, Palace will go a-tumbling into league one, where they will meet some old friends of theirs...
 














Hart will probably keep them up, sadly.

His Portsmouth played excellent football, quite unlucky whenever they lost. He didn't take Pompey down to their lowly position, and wasn't responsible for the crap goings-on at the club board level, or the non-payment of players.

He comes in with something to prove - though with a stripped-down team at his disposal - but are they, after their point-deduction, worse than the teams below them?

I sincerely hope so.

I think if I was a palace fan, I'd be completely underwhelmed by this appointment. As a Brighton fan it gives me a nice warm smug feeling.
