What a ridiculous thread, McGhee still has my total support while he is in charge, we are barely a month into the season and we've got stupid threads like this.

:censored:

It's nothing to do with this season, it's to do with everything he has or hasn't done.

He has come to the end of his Albion career just like LK,Trolley,Jarret, and CKR according to some.

See ya.

but it seems he wont be at club for much longer so just thinking about future options ???

Which I guess is fair enough but I wish people would realise he aint going anywhere in the near future and the energy would be better served betting behind the team than grumbling about possible future alternatives.

IF McGhee does go I would doubt the likes of Shearer would be interested in a side with little finance, dwindling support and not a proper stadium. It would either be a manager over the hill or someone unproven. I'd like to see continuity, someone like Guy Butters.

Murdoch, Cooper, Ternent, Royle ... I'm sure all would do a better job than McGhee. Likewise Gregory, Curbishley, if interested.

That is utter bollocks, I am afraid. Allen was won over by Pete Winkleman taking him around the almost finished new stadium, which I have also seen, and which is awesome. Do you think Withdean would have had the same effect?

I'm so jealous of it- its stunning!
What have they done to deserve it?!

Why are you sure? MK Dons fell away under Murdoch, Cooper sacked from two jobs in 2005, Ternant relegated Gillingham, Royle is a fine manager but he failed in his last season taking a club with Premership ambitions to 15th and it's a long shot at his age whether he'd want to manage the Withdean poverty after what he has been used to. Curbishley is a joke right?

What happened to the name of Phil Parkinson who appeared most often in your suggested list of alternatives last season. Could be a free agent soon? :D

The United Kingdom of Mile Oak
Dean Wilkins would be my number 1 choice.

If not Wilkins then any of the following...

Danny Wilson
Alan Curbishley
Neil Cooper

I feel a poll coming on!:D

If we'd got our arses in gear in the summer, it could've been Martin Allen ... alas, our loss.

If the Blooms had got their way in the summer he could have been Martin Allen
