What a ridiculous thread, McGhee still has my total support while he is in charge, we are barely a month into the season and we've got stupid threads like this.

If we'd got our arses in gear in the summer, it could've been Martin Allen ... alas, our loss.

I'm sure if you advertised the job you'd get plenty of excellent managers applying.

Brian Clough - dig him up, hand him a bottle of scotch and see if he can do a better job second time round.

That is utter bollocks, I am afraid. Allen was won over by Pete Winkleman taking him around the almost finished new stadium, which I have also seen, and which is awesome. Do you think Withdean would have had the same effect?

I wouldn't say I like him but seeing as he is our manager for this season I am willing to give him a chance. I don't see the point in getting rid of him now, and I don't think all the negativity around the club is really helping him or the club, sometimes I think people are happy to see us fail if it means they are proved right.

Alan Shearer has this week said he wants to go into management.....Now i'm sure HE could get us some signings.
