What's the big rush? Players are on holiday. Lots of other staff to do all the essential things. We are an attractive option. There may only be twenty or thirty other more attractive clubs to manage in the whole of Europe. We will obviously have a short list (with perhaps just a couple of names)....but no harm in seeing who else might throw their cap in the ring.

This. Plenty of time to get the right man in and then for them to get their own singings in before the end of the window.

Significant that the whole backroom staff have gone. Does mean to me that negotiations are ongoing with someone who wants his own team.

Ps: Mohrinio anyone? :eek:
