I think when kits first came out in the 19th century, many teams had that V design or a sash. It seems to have almost completely disappeared in football kits today.I like that. Tough to get away with in football because of the rugby league usage.

Shirt pulling could be a thing of the past if we rock up in that kit. Mind you it would probably make it easier for VAR to determine handballsPuma have provided AFL teams with stripes better looking than a English Premier League team with Nike....probably at a fraction of the cost.

I think we need to get in touch with North Melbourne Kangaroos and get some spare kit off them - the no sleeve look, & 80's style shorts, would be perfect for the start and end of the season in warmer weather
Not much wriggle room if you have big balls thoughPuma have provided AFL teams with stripes better looking than a English Premier League team with Nike....probably at a fraction of the cost.

An AFL guernsey as they call them, will set you back around $120 (£65).Puma have provided AFL teams with stripes better looking than a English Premier League team with Nike....probably at a fraction of the cost.

Airdrie is the only one I can think of.I think when kits first came out in the 19th century, many teams had that V design or a sash. It seems to have almost completely disappeared in football kits today.
All quite recent.Airdrie is the only one I can think of.
I was going to add a line about you being along to prove us wrong...All quite recent.

If you look on historicalkits.co.uk it’s easy to find early examples - Accrington, Birmingham, Bradford, Brentford …… got bored of looking after that!Airdrie is the only one I can think of.
Yeah but remove the collar and swap in the colour of @Sepulveda's shirt with a Sampdoria/rugby league influence and you'd have a lovely one.I would as well and I’m very firmly in the ‘stripes’ camp. I hated with a passion the blue kit from a couple of years ago.
Jack Grealish would love the socks!I didn't know Eddie Howe played for the North Melbourne Kangaroos
I take your point, though, Bordeaux and Veles Sarsfield both have chevrons on their shirts pretty much as a permanent design.I was going to add a line about you being along to prove us wrong...
What I should have said is that as a permanent design, Airdrie is the only one I could think of over here rather than any one off type designs.
Well quite, I would be surprised if Puma kit, (or Adidas for that matter), is appreciably cheaper than that manufactured by Nike.An AFL guernsey as they call them, will set you back around $120 (£65).
The leak for the Forest away is interesting. Light blue and white stripes, like a argie kit that’s been pulled out of shape,
