Yeah, you'd never get a team winning the Champions League with red and blue stripes...

That's Blaugrana, FYI. Simply not the same thing :)

This was a mock-up done by the local paper in Reading of what their new kit could look like with the new sponsor. Natives are not happy because it looks like Oxford United's badge. Tee hee

this is what is on their wiki page apparently it was the Massive Aldershot FC who were their biggest rivals before they went bust. I get the feeling that nobody can really be bothered to dislike Reading

"Before going out of business in 1992, Aldershot F.C. were Reading's biggest rivals There was a strong rift between the two sets of fans, with fighting between fans occurring on several occasions. Strong feelings remain between fans of Reading and fans of Aldershot Town, the refounded club in Aldershot. With Aldershot Town re-joining the league in 2008, it remains to be seen whether this traditional rivalry will be re-established. Since Aldershot's exile, Reading's main local rivalries have been with Oxford United and Swindon Town. When the three teams had shared a division, their rivalry was referred to as the "Didcot Triangle However, the rivalry between Oxford and Swindon is stronger than between either of the two and Reading, largely due to them both spending their recent history in lower divisions than Reading, and spending their previous history in higher divisions than Reading. In 2012, a small survey showed that Reading's main rivals were Aldershot Town, followed by Swindon Town and Oxford United"

I lived in Oxford in the early 80s and went to a fair few Oxford games, I recall that Reading were their 'rivals' although Oxford were in the ascendency back then making it ot the top flight in 85, and Reading were some what lower down the leagues. Also, the thing with Robert Maxwell probably fueled plenty of dislike between both teams fans. .

Its a pretty unrealistic mock up though. There's no chance it would be allowed to be that big, for starters.

They must have very different rules in France. I remember seeing kits from the French league, mostly around the late 1980s, it should be said (so it might have changed) where the sponsors logos were absolutely huge, and all over the shirts.

Isn't that Aberdeen one just using the German template?

I am a bit fan of the Cardiff kit (which to be fair looks like an old French kit)

When is our new away/3rd kit out? Are we going to have the usual thing of being the last team to get their kit out whilst other teams have been racking up the sales since the last game of the season?

QPR away - shocking

Given that we had the same away kit as QPR last season, and that we're due a new away kit, you'd better start praying if you think that's shocking...
