I might sound stupid but who cares .....

I've just been looking at my brighton shirt and realised this shirt expires this month (06/04.) Does anyone know when the new shirt is going to be realeased ? This may have been answered before I dunno, but does anyone know ?

home and 3rd kit i think

unless the yellow ones gonna become the new 3rd kit

basically we are getting rid of the home one and the black one !

we are getting a new home shirt, a new away kit and the yellow kit is being demoted to the 3rd kit i believe. it also depends on the sponsorship as to when the kit gets released. if the skint thing runs out we will be out looking for something new, therefore delaying the launch of the new kit.

it would be nice if they could release a kit just before the parade, then they would get a cash injection for players/players wages/installation of more seats/the falmer application/whatever.

it is more than likely that we wont be able to buy a kit until the season has started, but the kit will be worn on first day of season.

who knows what colour the away kit will be - reb, black, white, greem, pink - tis up to Mr Knight and co.

PLEASE RELEASE IT BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS!!!

McGhee said in the Argus some time ago that he wanted a red away kit as the most succesful teams in England wear red ! He said it is easier to pick out team mates in red as opposed to kits like the black one.

ive said this loads of times, why cant we have a compotition to design a new kit?

£5/£10 entry fee, ( as many times as you like) all the money goes to the club, for new players/wages/youth/falmer, whatever.

the top five kits go to a vote , so the fans pick the kit they like, not just the kit dick knight likes.

the eventuall winner gets free season ticket say, so theres enough insentive to enter as many tmes as possible.

everyones a winner, and robert is very much your mothers brother:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Colchester did something like that a few seasons ago via a vote on their website.

*sigh* voting via the internet will lead rival fans to vote for the shittest one

quite like scarbys idea though

Does anyonne know if we are keeping the same manufacturer?
i.e. errea???

might be a good money earner to change to a moor prominant brand ? i.e. adidas , nike , reebok, etc
our kit might then be available at all good sports shops
(and some bad ones of course)
surely would sell more and possibly change a few glory hunting chavs back in our direction????

If they were as quick to launch the new shirt as they are to send the season ticket renewal forms out,we would have been wandering around in them months ago_Oh well.

I thought the lack of shirts in other shops was down to club policy not that of Errea. Might be wrong though

The club did have a policy of not letting the kit be sold in shops around Sussex a while back but I don' t know if it still exists.

Obviously the more sold through the club, the more profit we see so with internet shopping you couldn't blame them for trying to sell as manay as possible through their own channels.

Middlesborough kits are made by Errea. They are sold in sports shops.

If we allowed our kit to be sold by other places someone like JJB or Asda would start selling it at £24 and the club would lose out on a lot of profit.

I don't mind paying £40 for my shirt to the club, even though the shirts are poor quality, the letters peel off, the sponsor fades, and by the time the kit is available to buy it has almost passed its expiry date.
