Are we getting a new kit at some point for div.1?

We'll be getting a new home shirt but keeping the yellow one. Not sure, but now we're in Division One don't we require a third strip?

According to my contact within the club, the new home shirt will have a collar and the badge will be replaced with a big seagull, just like on the yellow shirt.

I won't be buying one if there is no badge! Looks like my centenary classic will have to go another two years!

I like the yellow kit.

In marketing terms, if you have a simple symbol or logo that's instantly recognisable as yours, even without any writing on it, it indicates that you have a very strong brand- look at the Nike swoosh for example. It doesn't need a name or description on it.

The most recognisable sporting logo in the world is the New York Yankees emblem, and it's the most simple design possible. It doesn't need any embellishment or additional wording, it's just perfect from a marketing point of view.

People link us instantaneously with the seagull, it couldn't be any other club's badge. The fact that people will know it's our shirt just from a simple seagull design tells you how strong an image it is, and how well known our club is. "Brand awareness" is the marketing speak for it.

Our badge has changed loads of times over the years in any case. Think of the classic Wolves shirts of the 1970s, all they had was a single wolf's head on, yet you know it's them straight away. It'll be the same with us and the seagull, personally I like the idea and can't see why it's a problem.

Club Badge on the stripes is a must

Who kisses the badge on their shirt just before they put it on, on a match day

I never buy a home shirt ,down to the fact the club dont have them out until october, im not getting my moneys worth out of it. they should be out now for the summer market.

not too bothered about the design as long as they keep the blue and white stripes the same thickness and its not skin tight like spurs kit

I'm on holiday/honeymoon in two weeks, any chance of a new shirt to take with me before then?

Agree with everything you said but let's use that brand strength on "leisure wear" ... this is the team shirt we are talking about - we need to have the badge there to build a bit of tradition. I didn't like it when we changed from the old round badge but I've grown to like this one and it belongs on the shirt!!!!
