Meopham, Kent.
Probably wants a fresher challenge or maybe more money?

Or a staring role, as he was mainly back-up to Marshall in Cardiff. Or simply fancies living in Brighton.

Is he the goalie who played midfield and goalkeeper in his youth football days? I'm not talking as an under 10 either, it was as a teenager while on the books of a pro club. Would suggest he can cope with the ball being passed around the back in the way we do.

Think that was the guy at Boro.

Ive been thinking is there really any good keepers that we can buy within our budgets at the club, Only one i can think of is Stephen Henderson from Pompey, Currently on loan at West ham, or Jamie Ashdown, Your thoughts ??[/QU

Henderson is on loan with a view to purchase made at the time to get over the regulations regarding transfers and transfer windows. Ashdown is a good shout.

Not convinced at this level they are. Casper was absolutely SUPREME in League One last season.

Blimey, I think you might be going over the top with that comment. He was ok, in a side that eased to promotion but I certainly don't remember him having any outstanding games for us 2010-2011 season.

Argentina - O. Ustari - Profile with news, career statistics and history - Soccerway

I presume Ustari did something wrong or got injured to go a whole season without a single game for Getafe. I saw him play for Independiente when he was a kid. Aguero was in the same side and I'm surprised that they haven't both set the football world alight. At least El Kun rose to the top and it was fantastic to see him get the vital goal for Citeh at the weekend.

So, an Argentine goalkeeper, 25 years old? Any chance???

If its any use I signed him on Football Manager 2007 and he was insanely good... Then again, so was Ibrahima Bakayoko.

A) Nobody knows what 'our budget' is, either for wages or fee - who would have guessed Mackail-Smith was within reach?.
B) Nobody knows who we might be looking at or guesses who Gus might sign - who would have guessed Gonzales or Vicente just for two?
C) Very few keepers play the Gus way - Mitch Walker looked a decent prospect when I saw him, but Gus felt he couldn't do the Gus stuff.
D) I can't cope with another keeper called Henderson and even the Peterboro fans hate Lewis, so why would we want him?

Where did you find out what our budget is for a keeper?..Personally I think it should be right up there with a striker and look what we spent on one of them last season.
