Just had a call to say my new iPhone has arrived.
Moving from o2 to vodaphone.
If I back up my current iPhone in iTunes , will all my emails be kept and all my notes too. Can't lose any of them.
Also, will it save my online game progress like clash of clans and boom beach?
Cheers in advance

If you restore your new phone from a backup of the old, all apps and associated game data will transfer across. Changing the carrier makes no difference.

Unless you plug your phone into your computer and sync with iTunes with any degree of regularity, you should be using iCloud backups. Your phone will just quietly back itself up every night. You are then able to restore that backup any time you choose.

But, yes, you can backup the old phone to iTunes too, and then restore it onto the new phone. Everything on your phone that can be backed up will be restored.

This is unlikely to include email, but that is almost certainly sitting on the server of your email provider so as soon as you access that email provider on your new phone, you'll have access to it again.
