New Hero 9/10, 9.30 pm - The REAL 80's night, for those who were there the first time around.

Get yourselves along for a great night of 80's music. Upstairs Rock/Alternative, Downstairs - Pop/Synch.

Great songs you never hear on the radio anymore.

As a taster this little gem is on the playlist for the upstairs dancefloor.

Sorry G, I was NINE in 1980...

Anyway - like the idea of the two rooms, for different tastes.

Good luck, with it.

Saturday 9th October 9.30 pm - late

New Hero - £ 5 on the door, just up from Churchill Square, 11 Dyke Road.

Aimed at 30-50 somethings who were there when it happened. Dress up in your 80's clobber, listen to the great songs, dance, drink, let it all hang out and pretend you are 20 again, even if only for a night.

New Hero is a great club, use to have a good 80s night there on Saturdays but that was aimed more at the yoof. Used to get absolutely rammed and they had to give lollies out to keep the que placated.

20 somethings are well into 80's music nowadays and are welcome but it is aimed more at people who were there first time around but have no opportunity to dance and listen to this era with like minded and like aged people and would feel uncomfortable or too old in every other club in Brighton.

Good luck with this venture. It is a tough market out there and Spellbound, IMHO, have this sort of night nailed.

Come along mate. We know of Spellbound and are picking a date that does not clash.
