I was wondering yesterday about how the capacity/queuing will be managed for those happy to have a beer in the external areas. Are we going to have a situation where the internal capacity is full, and so people are queuing to get in(one in one out), but all people in the queue want to do is buy a pint or use the toilets and go back outside?

To make proper use of that external area we need to make sure people can pretty freely pop in to buy a pint and use the toilets, and then leave again, rather than having to get in a long queue just to enter the building once the internal capacity has been reached.

I would add.
Take photos of the entitled twats and spread them across the world!!!!

Worst we saw was on a train leaving the French Alps April 23, this young French woman took 4 seats. Out of sight to the right are a bunch of old French people, who had to stand for 3 hours. There are luggage racks by the exit doors, but she obviously wanted to keep sight of her possessions.

There are a lot of unanswered questions like this. Perhaps naively, I’m presuming that all them will have been exhaustively identified and resolved as part of the planning. I can’t believe it will just open and become one great free-for-all, but then I do tend to always look on the bright side.

I’ve heard that the AMEX club thingy will have coat rails. Have you got/applied for an Amex card?
Coat rails but only with an Amex card, Barber never misses a trick. Card duly applied for :lolol:

Anyone know if they will keep the portacabin style toilets in the external area once The Terrace is open? And have any other food/drink vendors outside?

I guess the fish and chips and coffee van will stay.
Coffee man said at start of season that the 2 of them got the contracts because they didn't clash with the offerings in the terrace.

From what I understand all ordering will be done by phone or using one of those displays you see in fast food places these days. I assume you will then just have to loiter for your number to come up.

F**k that, I’d be asking her to move her shit so the old couple could sit down.

Because everyone else were French speakers, interfering may’ve gone belly up eg the old people may’ve intimated not to worry. On UK trains I’ve asked people to move bags hogging seats.

And the external capacity, will people be fenced in to keep the numbers below 2000 if so I assume you will not be able to buy a pint and walk around the ground unless there is a separate outside bar.

Haven't read the whole thread but was wondering whether Sudexo will fully staff the stadium bars or reduced staff levels because some of us are in the Terrace? If the concept of building the Terrace is to take pressure off the transport then the stadium bars all need to be open
