My six year old daughter thinks it's great and as this is really TV for kids (ahem), I therefore think it's great too.

She's a superb actress and will undoubtedly re-fresh the franchise.

Looks good, although I'm not sure I like the idea of Bill being in it - what's the point of doing a big, dramatic departure bit only to have her return at the earliest possible opportunity?

Mark Gatiss's character intrigues me - given all the nods back to the show's past, is it too wild to suspect that his character might be a younger version of a certain Brigadier?
