So it's the Orlandi song with different words?
Yeah it is. NW corner sing the 'Sussex' version & centre North sing the 'Orlandi' version. Very confusing.
So it's the Orlandi song with different words?
agree completely, but no-one seems to sing it, but they seem to join in on this new one
1. Shit tune
2. Palarse song
3. What happened to having our own songs ?
Fans of clubs all over the country sing a version of this song...
So you want to follow rather than lead ?
Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. & Sussex County Cricket Club
The song has also become attached to Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. and Sussex County Cricket Club. It is the club's official song, but with a changed chorus.
Good old Sussex by the sea, Good old Sussex by the sea
And we're going up to win the cup
For Sussex by the sea.
When I was a kid (70s) I'd swear the words were different from those sung now. It was-
We are Sussex by the Sea, good old Sussex by the Sea,
Oh we're going up and we'll win the cup, for Sussex by the sea.
Things change.
Or I'm going daft.
Happy with either option.
So you want to follow rather than lead ?
What the **** are people saying it's the palace CPFC song tune? It's a tune that's been used by lots of clubs for years - palace only recently singing that song I believe. Some yrs ago it was man uniteds viva Ronaldo song - first time I'd heard the tune!
Those saying it's a palace song tune r just trying to devalue it! Rant over sorry!
