No reflection really as both Goldson illness and Duffy injury could not have been envisaged. Obviously the U23s are not ready yet to be thrown in the deep end.

In January we didn't need a 5th choice CB. Since then we've lost two top quality championship defenders to potentially season ending injuries. There was no club in this division as well set as us for CBs on the 31st of January.

Sheff Weds did not need a 5th forward but spent £10m on Rhodes to help gain play off place.

Not sure the point of many slagging him off at this stage. Anticipate he's purely cover for Uwe/Dunk SHOULD the need arise.

I've no doubt all the BS about attitude etc is BS because we don't sign players with baggage anymore and one thing is bloody certain, this squad don't accept passengers and free loaders.

Think I read that left back is his secondary position so would probably be a left sided CB as per Uwe and allow Dunk if playing to move to cover Duffy. as the rifght CB.

Except of course that Sheff W did need another striker as none of theirs were doing the business sufficiently. Most of them had also been injured in and off. Realistically you couldn't get much more of a wrong comparison.

Medical tests go on at numerous points during the season.

Routine tests after the lincoln game, including in-game heart monitor readings analysis ?

If a problem was flagged up then the next stage would be further tests and a specialist opinion.

The lincoln game was on the Saturday and results and treatment plan known by Thursday at the latest. I can't see much scope for criticism.
