Apparently they cover Everton & Ascot.
Dark Star in WSU please!
How long will it be before it goes over to 'in house catering' so we get all the profit.
Slighty o/t here, but I don't understand the big deal about supplying the away fans with a beer from their locality.
For example, if I went up to Nottingham, I'd be after a beer local to there. The last thing I'd be looking for is a pint of Harveys.
Hopefully they'll get in a decent real ale like John Smiths.
I heard a rumour yesterday that Harvey's ave been asked to price their tender again and the offering the albion are looking to make is well below Harvey's price.
Only a rumour, but that will be interesting if the local brewer is ditched.
John smiths and carling all round then!
Wouldn't surprise me. They've put up their prices three times in the last year.I heard a rumour yesterday that Harvey's ave been asked to price their tender again and the offering the albion are looking to make is well below Harvey's price.

Provided it is cask and not keg or Smooth which would be an improvement on the flat tasteless Harveys served at present.
I can understand someone saying they dont like Harveys but to call it tasteless beggers belief. It is usually the robust taste that people cite for why they don't like it.
Greene king is bland in my view whilat john smiths and stones are both (especially when served through a swan neck with sparkler) fairly basic. But it is all about taste[/QUOTE
Generally Harveys has a distinct taste flavour. not to my liking but it is to many and is there, but that served at The Amex appears to me to be lacking in this taste. Please dont ask me why as I am sure it is the normal brew and the 'brightening' of it shouldnt affect the taste

I can assure you it doesn't The Harvey's at the stadium is generally better than most pubs.
