54 Plate Very high mileage 350k rough condition hence needing to sell it has been very good but now starting to cost money ie will need a new clutch soon and I am told probably a new fly wheel for which I have been quoted the best part of £800. So you wouldnt want to buy it.

At the end of the day the winner is the purchaser provided he is not a VAT registered business, like I am..

If you're a VAT registered business then you could buy the car through the business, allowing you to offset the VAT and you can reducing your tax liability due to the depreciation costs. However, you then may be liablefor increased PAYE tax for having a company car for private use. Suggest you speak to your accountant.

Sorry I typed it wrong it was 250k but was quite high when I bought it 3 years ago since then I havent done that much probably 50k as we have driven to Portugal, Spain for holidays.
