Anyone know how the new car park is progressing? Is there a waiting list? Any idea of the cost? Is the access / exit point really through that little narrow tunnel under the railway line????

Its £270 for the season and yes its in and out of the tunnel....................

Is this the real reason fans are urged not to park in Coldean etc.?

So that the fans walking there don't obstruct those paying extra cash to the club?

By the seaside in West Somerset
Last I saw was a pic from Paul Hazlewood showing all the buildings now demolished and starting to level the ground - that was about a week and a half ago
Don't know how sales have gone.
Access/egress sounds like it might be "interesting"

Purchased one of these after a year using the coach, we want to chill out after the game and have a few drinks on the concourse with away fans etc.. which I think wil mean we will miss the rush hopefully

I have a Bridge car park spot , went up there last weekend to look at it .. Still needs levelling etc and a lot of work to do .. I am also worried about getting out , but i guess its a drink aftyer the game and wait for the rush to subside. it cost me £135 , but i do take a registered disabled along so club gave discount

I hope these drivers partake in non alcoholic drinks or I suspect there may be a Police presence at the tunnel lol

Can anyone tell me, do you get a paper ticket for the car park or do you just rock up with proof of purchase?
I'm assuming I have to display my blue badge

You get a big pile of parking passes posted out. Those for disabled will have a sticker on front stating disabled parking

Fairly sure the club have been told that Lucraft Rd is not allowed, As for entry assuming its the same as Bennetts field you'll be given match by match tickets to show as you enter much like the travel vouchers of last year but bigger.

Thankyou

You can not arrive or depart via Lurcraft rd as per planning permission. I work at the academy so have a spot in our car park. The new car park is nearly levelled and ready to be tarmaced. I am not looking forward to now having to wait amongst the added 600 cars that will be able to park in the new space. Think we will all have to be proper patient as we all exit through the tunnel!!

How do you get to it from the A27 and does it take long?

The name gives it away

If your heading up from Brighton you turn right at the traffic lights by the Stanmer park turn off, go under the A27 and its straight ahead. From Lewes and the North go past the stadium on the A27 and bear left on the Stanmer Park turnoff, (A270?), then left at the lights and your there.

Incidently I have a season car park ticket for the Bridge car park but couldn't go on Saturday so I gave the pass to my son. I texted him at 7:30 in the evening and asked him jokingly if he was still in the car park but he said it had been a doddle and he was back in Shoreham by 5:30.
