New Car Park

Can someone tell me exactly where it is? Is it nearer than the Uni parking?

It's in what was Falmer school under the little bridge, you can walk from there using the footpath that runs alongside the railway line. I guess about a 10 minute walk.

On the site of the old Falmer High School at the bottom of the walkway which goes past the station! Don't know the answer to the second point but I would doubt it.

Not much difference in distance, if you take the tunnel under the road, then the green bridge, I believe the walk (flat) from the new car park would be about the same.

Actually it's the old Stanmer School building.
About the same distance as the Uni carparks but you wouldn't have the subway or steps to cope with.

The approach road goes under a small and narrow bridge. I suppose, as vehicles will be traveling in the same diection, this might work ok.

Stanmer was my old school back in the early sixties with Westlain Grammar next door.
Will indeed make a fine carpark.

Isn't it amazing the amount of developement in this AONB?

The AONB was replaced by the Nat Park, and it doesn't cover that urban area.
