Think captain should be in the thick of the action. Suspect the ball will be in our half for most of the time now that the team has been weakened since beginning of December. That means give it to FDM even if he will punch the living daylights out of his defence. If we get two quality new players in in the next three hours, then give it to Forster as the ball may be up the other end.

Give it to Thomson for the rest of the season and then decide in the summer who has it next year. I would rather Forster concentrated on banging in the goals and bringing Murray on.

If he was good enough I'd agree with you. Sadly the criteria of a captain includes being able to hold a starting place in the team, and the day that Fraser is a sure fire starter in our midfield is a sad day indeed. Sorry!

I would give it to Elphick as well, along with a five year contract extension.
