keep reading different things but anyone know if he is a winger ?

If so then has to be

Cox Ham O'cal Frog

Little point having them on bench by what our current midfield have so far shown , throw them in

central I think - not the holding midfielder a la Bertin
scores the odd goal but not as many as someone like Hammond so guess he tends to pay a little deeper.
Assuming they have been brought in to play maybe the idea is to play 3-1-4-2 with Lynch or Reid playing ahead of the defence?

"He is a different type of player to Bertin. He was just that sitting, holding player and, as good as he was at that, he will not get crosses in and score goals. David is not prolific but pitches in with a few goals. He is an attacking midfielder, mobile, a good crosser of the ball and a good passer.

...suggests a wide player...
