I went to order Gills tickets today and I notice there's a new scheme in place.

So I rang the ticket office and they told me that each member has to pay £10 a pop to rejoin, now this may have already been discussed on here but that is disgraceful!!!!

I was also told that a "white" application form is on the website...where is it, I can't find it.

I really do despair with this club sometimes :(

yer but it's the principle...I paid to be a life member of the away scheme.

In theory all away members should be carried over as "white" as default.

There was a sticky about it put up by Yorkie a couple of weeks ago but agree it's not right.

If you paid for a 'life' membership and can prove it though surely there's a trading standards issue there

I couldn't find the form either...and I am somewhat dismayed at the £10 rejoining fee...not really cricket is it when we'd been told previously it was for life...

£10 isn't much but its the principle of the matter...

Apparantly Gills tickets are for gold members and gold members only. I tried getting one the other day only to be told they were being sent back to gillingham to be sold on the gate.

When I asked how many had been sold they replied 'not many at all'

It's a new scheme and all members of the original away supporters scheme were asked to register under the new scheme. For those wishing to register as "white" then the transfer was free provided you did this by 31st August, if not then it costs £10.
This was all on the Seagulls.co.uk months in June/July and, as others have said, reminders were posted all over NSC a few weeks back.

but thats no good if you've out of the country or have no internet access! I never received anything through the post and as has been stated the original White Form was for Life. I cant see anyone really suing the club over this but if this were in the USA then they'd be f***ed right now!

It was free....you had to re-register your details before 31st august

It was free for me as I was a season ticket holder at the time but didn't non STH have to pay?.

I'm not particularly bothered as my boys have lost interest in watching Brighton now so I'm not going to get in a stress about it but if you pay for life membership that should mean a life membership.

AND :lolol:, if the club are going to go back on this why hide it away on the ticket application for the Gillingham* game where possibly thousands of old members are not going to see it. I get plenty of emails from the club about one offer or another it could quite have easily been communicated that way. You'd think they wanted people to miss it and have to pay the extra £10. Nah

See, I don't care at all

After the win over Southend and all the postitive vibes spilling over from Falmer, I was genuinely worried there;d be nothing left to MOAN about on here till we get beat again on Friday.

This thread should tide us all over nicely till then.
