Seagulls fans,

Congrats on tonight. Tipped you for promotion pre-season and can't see you being stopped now myself. Written up some thoughts on the win - http://www.TheFootbalLab.co.uk/2017/brighton-2-1-sheffield-wednesday-five-things-we-learnt/

All the best for the rest of the season.

Nice report - cheers. I am not wishing to be nosey or anything but would I be fright in surmising that English is not your native tongue?

I liked the ad link at the bottom of the page, but sadly I already have one (see below).

Wow considering you're a neutral that is a fantastic, informative piece. Well done. You got everything correct there too - especially the Goldson out of position thing!

Agree on FF - Knocky is a much better player in my eyes :)

I'll grant you that. And my slightly mocking appraisal was somewhat undermined by typographical errors. In my defence, I have been sucking the soggy apron of Dionysus :lolol:

That's an incredibly good piece of writing if English isn't his first language. I say that as an English teacher who has marked hundreds of articles written by foreign students.

BTW the ads you see are personalised based on your search history :)

I have to say that for gently put downs, your reply is pure class. :bigwave:

Yes, I was being rude about the language. It is a good report, and very good of the chap to write it and post it so quickly. Hats off, and best of luck to the Owls in the playoffs (especially if the come up against The Dirty).

:lolol:

anyone clicking on links like this, without knowing the person who has provided it, is more or less asking for their PC to be infected with a virus and giving their personal information away in due course - so hope you guys don't have internet banking or you know this person.
Cyber crime is drilled into me everyday at work and this is a major no.

Let's put all the clues together - your warning about the virus, the advert for Russian brides and not written in perfect English - only one conclusion - Putin is the author !!!

Only trying to help! Google it if you don't believe me. Unless you know the person, never click on a link. Don't you get loads of emails a day from unknown people, with links . E.g. inland revenue pretend email saying you have a refund , with a link to claim it?

OK. I'll listen to you and Google and ignore my 25+ years in IT support, computing degree, post grad qualifications in IT, countless Microsoft qualifications and general common sense.

I love the fact you want me to Google it and then click on links of people I don't know. :dunce:

His Twitter link has him as a Midlands based youngster who is learning to write about football in the lower leagues. Here's his online page http://www.thefootballab.co.uk/

Worth a follow for his very mature insight into the game. Perhaps our resident 'journo' should take a note of his modest approach and quiet determination to produce something worthwhile.

Hope it is a bloke you know!

It pleases me immensely that he posted on this thread with a perfectly valid looking URL that matched the hyperlink and not the multitude of dodgy stream or porn related threads.
