Glad I didn't give Amazon more money and pay for Paramount+

Yellowstone is now on Netflix
Right. Need a steer (see what I did there) on Yellowstone.

Is it badly acted garbage with plot holes you could drive a herd of cattle through, designed to appeal to MAGA voting Americans who'd like to think that all problems can be solved with fists and guns, and that the Injuns should know their place?

Or is it a beautifully shot, escapist version of Succession with cows and a female character with the best one liners since Roman Roy?

Just enjoyed The Snow Girl - La Chica de Nieve.

A gripping Spanish kidnap thriller, still showing 100% on RT.

Had missed it first time around but saw S2 on the way this month....very good.

Watching Night Agent 2 at the moment. It's pretty awful - an absolute mess but have invested too much time to stop watching it now.

I saw one review that said "Watch Night Agent 1 and forget Night Agent 2 exists" think that sums it up well.
I really enjoyed both Night Agents. I did however leave any sense of disbelief at the door, they are ridiculous but good corny fun that are easily binged so the whole thing is over quite quick.

Freeview but we don't have a thread for that is Troppo. Australian detective series. An ex detective forced out of job and home due to accusations of paedophilia and an ex con guilty of murder turns tattooist and PI solving local cases. 2 seasons and I'm half way through second and really like it.

:ROFLMAO: I am 5 episodes in. It is beautifully shot, the acting is okay, lots of cows and some good one liners. A lot of violence in it too... I think it'll appeal to MAGA republicans over the liberals more.

It's America's most popular TV show. I'm enjoying it but sort of hating myself for doing so. Just finished Season 2, so not so guilty that I'm not still watching.

The Åre Murders is a curious beast. Massively over-hyped and pretty flimsy. There's only 5 episodes of about 50 minutes apiece, yet the first murder is done and dusted in 3 episodes. Really can't be arsed to set off on a brand new murder trail in episode 4. The real star of the show is the snow

The former with a side dish of latter.

With apologies to @HeaviestTed

At the end of my tether
I am a sucker for American detective shows but the old ones were much better than what they do today . I am going through all 12 series of NYPD Blue on Disney+ . The lead character is delightfully un p.c. At times.
Also I have discovered that Sky Atlantic are streaming one of the best ever - Homicide Life On The Street. It has good scripts, excellent dialogue and actors that don’t look as though the just got out of modelling school
