I reckon give young lynch a couple more games to prove his worth at lb.

We'll still need another though.

If true this is excellent news. Hate the fact he played for Palace, but the guy is just what we need, someone who has proven that he can score goals at this level.

His record alone this season justifies that he is a good bet, and throughout his career he has scored at this level or above.

He would also help out either Jake or CKR as partners and develope their game. I'd sign himthrough to the end of next year.

Just a midfielder needed now. I agree about Lynch at left back, give him a go, he looked very strong at Southampton.

I think it would be stupid to pin our hopes on Lynch, lots of youngsters come into the team and look great before a large dip in form. I'm not saying this will happen or that he wouldn't come back from it if it did but we need someone there if things don't work out so well for him this year.

Wise would be great and I could see it happening till the end of the year but Shipperley, i really don't think that will happen. He would be perfect for us but I just can't see him leaving Sheff Utd.

'YAY WE GOT LEON KNIGHT! Hes so cool' as posted by a Swansea fan.

I knew they were in the valleys but I didn't know they had some 'valley girls' supporting them. Its like something out of Clueless.

'I'm mean he is like so totally the biggest pain in the ass'

If true, I would view signing Shipperley as good news since as someone else said he is a proven goalscorer.

Please, no. He's fatter than me.

Plus, someone needs to ring up Canterbury Cathedral and tell them one of their gargoyles in missing.

I have been saying he is the sort of player we need, experienced goal scorer proven at this level

I dont care if he used to play for Croydon Amateurs as long as he does a job.

Much rather him than a lazy midget with an attitude problem

Have to say that although I don't rate him very highly, I think he will do a better job than Leon, and could link up well with CKR

If you look at CKR, Jake and Chris McPhee there is one thing that they all lack, despite their youthful exuberance, that is experience. Shipperley has a fair amount of that, if we could get him either free or on the cheap until the end of the season it could be a good signing.
