So you think this is funny do you, sounds like someone needs to see that you get a visit from the Law yourself.
From your response, it sounds like you are the people he is refering to.
I'd recommend talking to your neighbours rather than taking police action. They may have MS and are legally taking the drug medicinally.
Yep, I think once again TheTruth has seen what all of us have been blind to. I'm absolutely, 100% certain this is the reason. It's a dead cert. Well done Truth, another winner.

I think people need to stop thinking about this in terms of it being an illegal substance. Cannabis obviously divides opinion but what matters here is that the OP is being disturbed by his neighbours. If they were just smoking cigarettes and the stink came across regularly it would be no better just because cigarettes are a nice legal, taxable drug.
If it is causing you grief you've every right to feel aggrieved. However the neighbours undoubtedly just think you're being petty. And the trouble is they have every right to enjoy a smoke in their own home.
I don't think there's a lot to be gained from trying to get the authorities involved because ultimately there isn't a great deal they can do.
You are far better trying to reason with your neighbours to find an agreeable solution. Don't make threats or demands and try to come at it with them in mind. You aren't going to stop them smoking and they're not going anywhere so you need to learn to live in harmony.
Explain to them you've no problem with their enjoyment of cannabis, but you are affected when the smell invades your home so you'd like to propose a mutually agreeable compromise. This might involve working out exactly how the smell is coming across and then taking steps to close up this route or possibly looking into equipment to neutralise the odour.
If they're avoiding you then put it in writing, and this way you've got a record of your being reasonable which you can later bring up if things get worse.
Don't demonize them for smoking cannabis though. What they choose to do in their own home is up to them. It's being inconsiderate that makes them a problem
I'm not saying tip toe around it, I'm merely pointing out that trying to get on your high horse about it because it's technically illegal is flawed. The authorities aren't going to bash their door in because they smoke weed. Unless they're dealing then they're not going to fear the old bill so threatening that kind of action won't help
My neighbour has MS and smokes weed? I'm not at all certain this is the reason but it's not uncommon.
They probably won't bash their doors in but if a complaint is made they are duty bound to investigate it. It might only result in a caution but continued breaches would eventually involve an arrest.
It is indeed very common for MS sufferers to smoke a joint or 2 in the evening, just about the only thing that offers any kind of relief from muscle spasms and continuous pain. Common, when there's anything about anyway unlike for my mrs at the moment who is currently without and I can see the difference in her when times are dry![]()

Every weed smoker uses it for medicinal reasons when they've been caught/found out.
Smoking weed to reduce the symptoms of MS may work but it also lands you with another load of health problems that come with smoking weed. Better off going to the GP and geting it in tablet form.
