No but it should mean you can't have opinion on a game you didn't watch today

Sorry that is f***ing ridiculous. Firstly I made no comment on the game my post was about the general situation the Albion are and thirdly I can form an opinion from listening to the game and reading match reports. This is why my above post was made. Idiots like you and stupid posts like that ruin this board.

I'm not being excessively negative, which is against me general character. I thought we were a little uninspiring from the off today, only rocking into action nearer the end of the first half, but there were moments of pleasure and we didn't concede, which was shocking enough. I got the sense the conditions were difficult for both sides and each were tentative mildly because of it.
I haven't the expertise to tell a series of professionals that they're shit at what they're trained to do, and don't really need quite so much attention on the internet to flap my childish tongue about the place hoping anyone might get angry at me enough to reply.
I still have some hopes for Ycomb and am looking forward to it and the players we might sign. Should change for the better.

WE WILL NOT GO DOWN. Poyet will get us into lower mid-table and next season will be in the top six. Until then I bid you goodbye.

So are you saying you,ll be back when we,re a top six side...? A sort of fair-weather supporter...?

By the way....did you enjoy the play-off final, and the FA Cup game at Tottenham...?

one win in seven and 2 wins at home all season. Its hard not to be negative when we now sit 3 points away from safety after blowing another chance to take some much needed points and close the gap.

We are clearly worse than average in this league from what i've seen, and im sure that Poyet will replace tripe with more tripe in january. Despite that I expect us to stay up fairly uncomfortably and give it a year they'll be another useless manager in the dugout.

Although the longer this run continues the more likely relegation becomes and another few defeats on the trot could leave us with a massive gap to close

After the past two depressing seasons which have resulted in us being in the relegation area I am amazed that we are supposed to post positive comments,if Gus is given the cash to buy a much improved team which not only wins but also plays attractive football then the praise will roll in,until then tell it as it is.

A dour game of football and we would have certainly lost if it not for some outstanding defending and tracking back by Dickinson, the only positve from today for me was his willingness and endevour ,the rest, the less said.

Agreed. And what's the point of being optimistic when there is nothing to be optimistic about? It's bad enough to see the players pretending they're good enough without the supporters deluding themselves as well. Sort it out Poyet and quickly.

I'd have thought we could make a case for McLard being in breach, being as he's adopted the shape of a pregnant walrus).

Nonsense, he looks like Twiggy against yourself.

Well, last year's relegation fight was a success for us. Shouldn't that give you some positivity? The season before was a 7th place finish, the season before that was 18th (another avoiding relegation success to give us positivity). The season before that was in the divison above (and of our chairman, manager, coach, assistant and entire matchday squad on the final day of that season, only Adam El Abd is still with us). The season before that in the season above was a another successful avoidance of relegation.

Given all that, shouldn't we have more positivity, more hope?

Today was the day that I snapped. I usually save my rants for NSC but having watched another abject performance today, got soaked & fleeced and having witnessed 2 wins out of 12 games at Withdean, some of the players will in my opinion never be up to League 1 standard.

What wad worse, is that Orient out played us in defence & midfield.

There are also deficiencies elsewhere.
It's going to be a very long winter

1. Poyet has HALF a season to sort it out including a Jan transfer window.
2. With a core of quality singings in centre back, centre mid and left wing players like Tunnicliffe, Bennett and dicker will change for the better.
3. We kept a clean sheet.
4. We survived with 10 men (would not have happened under RS.
5. Gus is changing the whole club and with the run of dodgy performances and poor results knows EXACTLY what he needs to do.

Stop f***ing whinging and get behind big Gus and the squad he will select AFTER we sign some new players.

For people who paid well to watch a football game today - not looking at the season overall, not thinking about how wonderful it was we didn't lose or concede - it certainly was something to moan about.

People do go to football matches to be entertained - you do realise that, right?
