Seems to be a lot of these. Almost an exceptance not to make any noise at home. If we do end up playing FCUM in the cup, why shouldn't we get an atmosphere going ourselves as H/J block does?

I bet the ones accepting that FCUM etc will 'outsing' us are the ones who just sit there and make no f***ing effort???

Also it's clear that cos Woking were that end of the ground, people have made more note of the 'outsung' business - thank f*** H / J block are near the away fans normally and at least don't usually get 'outsung'.

Think about it... Rant over. :albion1:

It's a shame that people seem to be in the mindset that you can't create an atmosphere at Withdean so there is no point in even trying.

i hope they give them more tickets.........if we get through.

FCUM in the normal away end and the familly stand (and the one next to it) would create plenty of facket.

How many times has someone started a thread like this? A "Come on, let's make more of an atmosphere at home!" thread? We get them every week, and they have exactly no impact.

Drive by abusing
The myth of a lack of a roof on the south stand has been proven utter bollocks by the noise Woking made yesterday.
I find it unbelievable people don't want to come to the football & cheer & sing for their team. Its not the opera for christs sake.

Course the roof myth is bollocks. Sure, it helps, but it's not everything.

Loads of stadiums are ROCKING all over the world without roofs. See Camp Nou, for example..

Near Ducks, Geese, and Seagulls
I can't blame people for not getting into singing mode yesterday with the shit that was being served up on the pitch and the crap weather!

The team was a f***ing embarrassment yesterday.

glossing over the fact Camp Nou has over 10 TIMES the capacity?!

I was watching Barca highlights at the time so it's the first that came to mind! Take some of Portugal/Spains second tier stadiums for example. Watch a game with open surroundings, you'll see what i mean!

The lack of atmosphere will never change at the Withdean. We make a thread every week like someone else referred to but nothing ever happens. The best atmosphere you will see at home this season will be when we take the lead against Southampton but that will only be a few renditions of 'Seagulls' or 'Albion' and then it will be bums on seats time. And no, H block makes no noise either. Sitting in the middle of the south stand, i cant even hear them and after the game a couple of my h block mates claim they've been singing??The fact is, we will only create an atmosphere if the majority of the stadium sing. In my seat, if i started singing, i would be told to 'sit daaaannn' by the old cloggers and annoying little twats of kids that sit around me. Trust me, i would love to sing but on my own?would look quite a mug if you ask me.

All i can say is roll on Falmer...

The point of the thread is that people have such a negative attitude and just accept we can't make an atmosphere when we can so you've missed the point a little

NSC's Most Stalked
Most teams fans, including Woking that sound the loudest are teams who sing SLOW songs, and people can join in. Instead of singing so fast they sound like

I don't see how "people have just accepted we can't make an atmosphere when we can" is all that different to "look at the noise [insert away team name]'s fans made. See? It is possible to make a noise, maybe if people got off their arses and sang more we'd have a better atmosphere, come on everyone, do your bit instead of just sitting there!" or "if the home fans get of their arses and sing there'd be the sort of atmosphere we had at [insert away game] today!"

And sconsidering I wasn't the only one to make that point, I don't think a lot of other people make a distinction, either.
