Rumours - 77
Tusk - 79
Mirage - 82
Tango In The Night - 87

Ok one album later  I'd lost interest by then but I do agree with CS that Tango in the Night was a fine album

No it wasn't, it was Tusk. Mirage was many albums later I believe

Apologies. I've gotten all confused. I thought you'd suggested Tango was the disappointing Rumours follow up and I knew Mirage had preceded it. I'd completely ignored Tusk all together. However it's easily done as that album is NOT a classic Mac work if you ask me

I'm talking proper rock cheese here...Need to expand this list to a good 20 or so tracks...

1. The Living Years - Mike & The Mechanics
2. Valerie - Steve Winward
3. The Boys of the Summer - Don Henley
4. You're the Voice - John Farnham
5. Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty
6. We Built This City - Starship
7. Running on Empty - Jackson Browne
8. Jack and Diane - John Mellencamp
9. Learning to Fly - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
10. Blinded by the Light - Manfred Mann's Earth Band
11. Reelin in the Years - Steely Dan
12. Don't Stop Believin' - Journey
nsc
13. Always - Erasure
14. Back in Time - Huey Lewis and the News
15. Don't You Forget About Me - Simple Minds
16. Owner of a Lonely Hearth - Yes
17. Every Rose Has it's Thorn - Poison
18. The Whole of the Moon - The Waterboys
19. Dignity - Deacon Blue

If it is imperative that it is 1980's music, at least two of those are 1970's - Gerry Rafferty and Steely Dan.

EDIT: PS - and Blinded by the Light.
