So are all the sites hosted on Moonfruit?
I always think domains look "dodgy" when they are a sub-domain of somewhere else.
Are you not able to set them up using independent hosting? Or is part of using Sitemaker, having to have sm4.biz in the domain name?

I can easily set up the site to not should the 'forward to' link. See Maria's site...

HTML5 isnt going to be finalized till 2020 though is it? Flash is here to stay for now.

Given how long it takes for stuff to get standardized on the interweb you are probably right. That said it's in the wild now though. And I guess allot will depend on IE9.

The whole IT Industry is over saturated where some companies make millions and the rest are left to feed on the scraps. Of course if you have an idea and are the first in there, you have a chance.

The amount of people offering web design services is crazy. I mean what can you use to set your company apart from the competition, its been done and done a million times. what can you offer customers that other companies don't?

And then when you have people like Moonfruit offering free sites, that look bloody good how the hell can you make any serious money.

Work from home, have no overheads and get three or four sites to design a month mainly through word of mouth... It's worked so far - fingers crossed!

Good luck to you. I used to do sites, but got so fed up an annoyed with people keep changing their minds, I got out of it and try to think of other areas or ideas that I might think will work.

Luckily I have obtained the skills to create database driven websites using PHP, MYSQL and have also built up good experience on the server side of things.

I am far from an expert with .php and I don't consider myself as a programmer, but I can get a simple site sorted.
