As much as I don't enjoy Naylor's articles, I think the weight of expectation was something that Micky couldn't deal with and thereofre contributed to the awful home form as well as the awful performances in general.

Expectation wasn't an issue at the start of the season though was it?

My Swindon fan friend and I agreed, we were both going to be in the play off places this season. And look at us now, both depressed and consoling ourselves only by the hope both teams will be in the same league next season, whether it be league 1 or league 2. We need the 2 matches against each other, it's means too much to lose them. And, for her, she needs to see her team get revenge!

Expectation by many at Christmas was to finish mid table, however, we were not mid table Mr Naylor, we were in the relegation zone and looking and playing like a doomed team, they fans or club have those expectations.

I am sure if Stoke were in our position you would not compile such utter biased tripe?

In a way though it was expectation, an expectation created when you sack a manager who has just finished seventh. It's only in that context that being in the relegation zone is totally unacceptable.

Are any of us really surprised at this comment. Naylor is constantly writing this kind of shit. Yes Micky could not manage expectation but that is PART of his job also most fans would have accepted mid table and the fact that Micky was putting HIS team together. We are POSSIBLY going down and the team has been rubbish most of the season Naylor you plum.

We expected a lot of Adams but the sad fact is that he delivered nothing, absolutely nothing. I wouldn't "expect" him to get another manager's post quickly. Who else would take a risk with him?

Even though I had suspicions on his re-appointment that he was yesterday's man, it certainly didn't prepare me for the disaster he turned out to be this time around. How anyone can still champion him is beyond belief, except his family, obviously..
