His final words in that article are HARSH in the extreme sense of the word. Wishing relegation on another team isn't what a local sport journo should be doing.
Especially when you consider our own precarious state in the league right now.

Other than his wishing relegation on Yeovil, which makes one less place for us, I can't see anything wrong with his article.


me neither. Not many on here would complain if another newspaper (the gainsborough gazzette or kettering post) wrote something about one of our ex managers in that way. Of course the difference being that I dont envisage our club issuing public statements like the one yeovil did.

I completely agree. Yeovil clearly released the statement to try and unsettle Slade and our team so what is exactly is wrong with Naylor's article? It would be just if Yeovil went down after the way they have treated Slade and even their own fans think the chairman made a very bad decision by sacking him.

I heard that one of his laundry bills was when he slipped over in the park and got his trackies all covered in dogshit , had them dry cleaned as he didn't want to smell like the locals. :laugh:
