I had a hand crafted gala pie last night from the local butchers with some picalilli, absolutely divine.

My favourite hot pie is the Steak and Ale from the Pie shop in Baker St and favourite cold is a fluted pork pie from Sainburys deli counter.

Piglets jalfrezi pie, failing that rare thing being on offer, the chilli pie (would have added the special sausage roll with black pudding, but it's not really a pie is it ?)

Away from the Amex offerings, can't beat a good pork pie with some caramelised red onion chutney
