Really wanted to like this film, but have to say it was a total borefest. Far too subtly done. For me the acid test of any film is would I want to watch it again, and I could quite happily live out my years without seeing Owen Wilson's plaster-covered nose ever again. That said, the opening short film with Kiera Knightly, set in a Paris hotel room was top drawer!

By Keira Knightley, of course you mean Natalie Portman.

The reason I have watched it 3 times now is because it's subtle. I've noticed far more each time I've seen it. But each to their own.

Come on, these awards were total gash. You could have got a child of five to do the shortlists, and I'm just left wondering how much they had to pay Meryl Streep a) to turn up, and b) to look excited about winning that award. That performance in itself was worth an Oscar.
