I understand that there are a number of surgeries in the Brighton area that could close as the private firms running them are not making enough profit.
I am shocked to learn that a private company can own a NHS surgery and make a profit or close down the surgery causing patients to travel several miles, also
increasing the number of patients at other surgeries which will lead to a poorer standard of service.
I always thought that a group of doctors ran the surgeries and were responsible to their patients, when did this change?
