Maybe Stoke were lucky that they didn't sack Jones at the wrong time.
Hughton must be looking at the Spurs job.
The important thing is that it seems that the Stoke fans are getting behind him.

They would have sacked him a few weeks ago if others hadn't rejected the chance to take over
I can’t imagine there were many more than CH on their list and yes he’d have been the man to replace Jones without a doubt...if they could have pulled it off. They were not going to sack him for many other out of work managers though I wouldn’t have thought.
No chance. That won't ever happen
Agree, but he must be thinking of it. If Pochettino left mid season though it's only Alardyce, Pulis or Hughton who is available, and who could take on a short emergency contract until the end of season.
No chance any of those 3 would end up at Spurs. Pulis has already dropped down, Hughton couldn’t manage the players Spurs have, Allardyce wouldn’t be a Levy man
I hate Stoke. It’s a right shit hole.
Yes I guess those horrible common poor people living in terraced houses must be a real shock for you to see. God you give all the 'socialist' rubbish but in reality you are an absolute snob. At least I don't pretend to be something I'm not unlike you.
It wasn’t a shock; I’ve seen poor people before. I’ve also read about them in the newspapers. And there’s always some on Comic Relief. Poor people do not come as a shock.

Do you not think that if Poch suddenly goes and say the Ex-Juventus coach is unavailable, they might look towards him for a stop-gap?
Or is it more that he wouldn’t entertain it?

Difficult question. Would he entertain the position on an interim 3 or 4 month basis on those circumstances ?
It's not something I have ever asked. My first thought would be Yes he might. But I don't think it would be cut and dried Yes answer. His close ties with them would make it difficult to turn down but by the same token. He would have no mandate to stamp his own authority on the team in terms of bringing in new players.
This is all hypothesis. It won't ever come to pass

I see you’re being shadowed yet again. Surprised the Mod’s allow it .... he/she’s only here to angrily cause shite = troll.
I agree it will never happen, in the same way that Mourinho was a terrible fit for United and their style of football, the same is true of CH. He is nowhere near adventurous enough for the the style of football that is the “Tottenham way”...imo. Their fans would not accept sitting on 1-0 from very early in a game. Even in the Championship when we were a great team most wins involved nail biting defence in the last 20 rather than trying to kill the game. It worked here, it wouldn’t at Tottenham.
