Is this for all STH then. Paper gave impression it was only for the elderly.

It is atm, unless you can prove you’re a high risk supporter ( I think it will change again) .

A friend who is a Palace STH is taking advantage of the scheme, missing this season because he feels it just won't be the same and basically putting a £200 deposit on his current seat for the following season.
TBH I thought it was quite a good idea.

I might go down this route as I feel the same regarding games and how many I’ll get to see .

That £200 saves your seat for next season and comes off next seasons ticket.

Not that I fully agree with it, but its a DEPOSIT. Important point.

I know it’s a deposit but how many pensioners are guaranteed to be alive next August? How many pensioners can get £200 out of the bank in one go?

Junior ST can be deferred for £100, adults and pensioners for £200.

I think the club want proof you’re high risk . I’m going there on Wednesday to see if I can defer or not.

Fair comment, but one would assume they could afford it seeing as they would otherwise have spent significantly more paying for their season ticket this year.

I don’t know how Palace pay, but I am grateful to Brighton for having 12 month interest free direct debits as it helps me to budget.

I’m surprised this wasn’t the subject of this thread to be honest, the way that Palace have dealt with the supporters who spread the cost of their tickets monthly over the season, is utterly disgusting, immoral even.

And that’s a palace fan saying that. :censored:

If that's the case then it doesn't sound bad. But might have been more 'media friendly' to just tell them their seat is safe this season, and we'll see you in 2021/22. I guess all clubs have to juggle the income in the best way they can though.

Or maybe the OP and others could leave Palace alone for a little minute?

Anyone would think we are obsessed.

I know several Palace STH who really aren’t happy with this - and they’re right - it’s disgusting. Why do you always have to defend the indefensible? We often constructively criticise certain things on our club - you don’t have to always feel cornered.

I don't think any of us are guaranteed to be alive next August. I still often put holiday deposits down about a year in advance - now I realise what a FOOL I've been. Its late bookings for me from now on.

What I don't understand is that Palace are still selling season tickets for this season, with the deadline yet to be reached.

But given the Government rethink on letting fans back in, which was going to be 1st October at the earliest, it's very strange to see the following:

To qualify for the ticket allocation process for the Brighton & Hove Albion game, you must have purchased your ticket by 5pm Friday 25th September.

Does this mean this is another test event, or that the black hoodies are going to be smuggled in, so that they can get their famous backing against us.

I’m not defending nothing , just pointing out facts.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen constructive criticism from you.
