I am trying to be bold and not just pick 1/3 fav's which everyone else seems to be doing. My horse was 2nd beaten a short head today at 8/1. Would have got me back to level.

My plan will work and I will inevitably be the winner come 7/5/2004.

1/3 favs? I've had a 5/2 winner, 3/1 winner, 4/1 winner, 11/2 winner and 6/1 winner. None of my horses have been less than 5/2.

I've also had an 7/1 second and an 8/1 second. I think your 'everyone else' statement should be a little less broad, Mr. Glover.
