martin pipe had the pleasure of my company at his stables and for morning coffee the other day. lucky man.

He wouldn't be drawn on whether our vic or therealbandit goes for the gold cup or the royal sun alliance or the cathcart but he did say he thought that best mate was unbeatable ...so......reading between the lines.....im guessing that one of them runs in the cathcart.......therealbandit is 30-1 on the exchanges.......and if declared would be going off at less than 2-1......value?......it probably wont run....but it might.

old pipey....as i now call him, was very pessamistic about his chances even though he has 150 declarations for cheltenham!.....im avoiding his horses, but he was keen on westender for a big run in the champion hurdle......(40-1)
