If O'Riley is out for any length of time we simply cannot let him go. We'll probably need him to start on Saturday!

Napoli are a big club - they will be an attraction for Billy, I think we have to get past the EPL grandiosity and realise that. We wait to hear O’Riley’s fate with bated breath. The Albion badly misjudged injury attrition on their squad last season and it meant we arrived in the last few months utterly shot to bits. We have to have a lot of insurance now. Ayari didn’t take his chance tonight, Baleba was decent

Decent. He was a midfield boss.

Decent. He was a midfield boss.

I thought he played well but Albion did not boss the midfield tonight, in fact quite the contrary. We relied on Adingra and Enciso/Sarmiento counter attacks to win

One of our CM was kicked out of the game after 7 minutes.

As for the rest. Where you have one great CM’er surrounded my meh, inevitably the CM overall won’t thrive.

We saw the same last season, on so many occasions Gross was partnered with inferior CM’ers. And we lost.

Baleba (and Enciso) were quality tonight.

He stays till January. His game time between now and then dictates if he leaves in that window IMO…

Safe bet for the club and also allows WBG to understand where he stands in the pecking order when everyone’s fit.

Baleba looked quality when he came on against Mwn U as well.

Well then Napoli can make a big boy offer

I don't think that's fair, most clubs were hit really bad by injuries, and it wasn't predictable.

The only plus of oriley getting injured last night is the fact that WBG is still here (by a thread)

Hope the club don't f this up, He needs to stay. His agent must be fuming !

This. If they're that big a club, prove it!

(Though such is the case for keeping WBG now that PB and TB should keep up the 'No, come back with a better offer' game until the offer is up with or above White/Cucurella levels)

If MOR is out for even a month WBG has to stay. Unless the club are happy to buy another CM which I highly doubt after this AMAZING window!!
I'd like WBG to stay personally, though not convinced an injury of a month or two for MOR will stop club selling.

We've got Baleba, Wieffer, Gruda, FH likes Ayari too, Hinshelwood is now freed up for midfield potentially as Estupinian back and Kadioglu here, plus Milner.

We will be OK for a month or two without any other major setbacks.

I think the club will see it differently to the consensus here.

He didn't feature yesterday, presumably because the deal is close to completion, closer than it was at the weekend.

I think they club will conclude it's unreasonable on the lad to pull the transfer and that we need to be seen to be doing the right thing by players in this situation. Gilmour has conducted himself impeccably in this matter and I think that will sway the club to allow the move through
