[Travel] Naples cruise visit

I'm heading back to the area in the summer. The last time I visited Naples was 20 odd years ago and I thought the city was a dump but the surrounding area is lovely, I'll be by-passing the city itself this time. Herculaneum is better if your time is limited and it's better preserved than Pompeii but if you do go to Pompeii be sure to visit the Villa of Mysteries close by, it's an amazingly well preserved Roman villa.

But mind you get back in good time. The ship will not wait. I know of a captain who will pull up the gangplank as soon as the official tours have returned.

Got shitfaced at the American base there years ago and had one of the best over and under car tracks I've ever seen until we burnt all the cars out
