The Cask in Middle Street, terrible terrible service in rather plain bar and pricey with it.

Very true yesterday. The place has been gutted!

Any and all Vodafone shops. But particularly the one in George Street, Hove.

My O2 contract is up so I went to check out Vodafone's deals. Absolutely **NO** other customers. Two sales people. One lounging in a swivel chair, pushing himself back and forth. The other sitting - yes, sitting - on the main desk where the till is. Both chewing gum. Neither with more than a neanderthal attitude to service. I inquired about deals etc. The one sitting on the desk muttered something about looking in the brochure and waved vaguely at the brochures in the rack 'over there'. The other one in the chair gobbed off 'Oi mate, which phone you got at the moment'. Now, I don't mind someone calling me mate down the pub or at the footie. But not when I am proposing to help pay their wage.

This is one of the country's largest companies. God help them. I retreated back to the safety of the O2 store and renewed my contract.

Macdonalds drive you in shoreham next to dunhelm mill. Ordered a mcmuffin meal and they said hash browns wasn't ready so take a seat. 10 min later still sitting there after watching numerous people being served including the hash browns, I got up and asked where my breakfast was. Same girl who served me turned round looked at the hash browns and said we're just waiting for the hash browns to cook, would I like to take a seat. My reply cannot be published on a public forum!!!

You made a basic error there, you went and sat down, never ever do this as they always forget you and this goes for most McDonalds as the minute you sit down they get a rush on and you may as well forget it. When asked to take a seat just reply no it's fine i'll wait here.

That pool place on West Street is truly awful as well. There is the rudest Polish/Slovakian/Russian woman working there. I was in there a couple of weeks ago with a few mates for a leaving do, there were 7 of us and we all put a few beverages away. She should have been pleased for the business, considering there was no-one else in there, but no. She looked thoroughly pissed off people had gone in there and she remained stone faced and miserable the whole time we were there. Dreadful manner about her.

I was in there a couple of weeks ago with a few mates for a leaving do, there were 7 of us and we all put a few beverages away. She should have been pleased for the business, considering there was no-one else in there, but no. She looked thoroughly pissed off people had gone in there and she remained stone faced and miserable the whole time we were there. Dreadful manner about her.

I thought the customer service and stewards at the Amex was excellent, for what it is worth.

Quick too, which is not normal in away ends at a football ground in my experience.

Interesting as I have always had okay service. And it will be pricey; a lot of the keg beers are specialist and brewed in small batches and imported. The Cask stuff seemed reasonably priced.

what is it about mobile phone shops? the sales people are the new used-car dealers. they NEVER give you proper impartial advice. One week they are flogging one network, the next week another one to meet their targets. it is never about the customer. Carphone Whorehouse is the worst. They are anything but impartial

I think this is a common problem with most phone shops & staff. The wage is so low and a lot of them work only part-time so they don't give two shits about the customers interests, it's all about the bonus & commission.

Went for a ruby in Ashoka last night. Food was great; service was just awful. Never going there again.
