Palace- Could go either way, summer of disruption, fail to sell Zaha quickly or for enough and they could struggle to get people in, even in this buyers market.
Wolves - Transition to new style seems to not be working as expected.
Newcastle - Can Ashley keep getting away with it? No sale and they could struggle
Southampton - About to lose two good players in Ings and Bertrand, not a lot of money there either allegedly finish to this season could be a concern.

Villa with Grealish rocking the club to the core with a transfer request following the Euros and saying he needs to be playing for a Champions League team to ensure his England international ambitions are fulfilled.

Burnley as the new owners demand more from Dyche than just staying up. and he doesn't spend the money wisely

Southampton who seem to be everyone's favourite to go down given the reducing investment from the owners and the likely leaving of a few established players.

Wolves an interesting one.

Plenty of players have peaked. Moutinho, Neves, Patricio. Young players don't currently look up to the mark. Though they have a striker who if they can get fit is not far off world class and a winger who if they can get fit is near impossible to defend against.

I suppose the answer is that they will spend and they will be ok

This season has been very predictable. From the beginning Citeh looked like Champions and Fulham, WBA and Sheff Utd (second season syndrome plus injuries) looked like prime relegation candidates.

Spurs got Spursy, Everton gave us another false dawn, we remain in bottom 6 without ever going into the bottom 3, Palace's anti-football earns them lower mid-table position.

Villa, West Ham and Leeds did a bit better than expected, Southampton, Arsenal and Wolves a bit worse, but nothing that surprising.

I don't see much changing next season. Liverpool will probably replace Leicester in the Top 4, the three coming up will all face a huge battle for survival and the three going down will dominate the Championship.

Newcastle if they don’t sort out their ownership issues. As we saw this season they’re one injury away from drastic underperformance. Ashley won’t want to spend anything unless they get a big offer for Wilson or Saint-Maximan etc

Saints for the reasons already mentioned.

Likewise Burnley but it’s possible they’re new owners may surprise and invest more than the 60p they paid us for Dale Stephens.

Palace - lots of old high wage earners to get off their books and a new manager’s ideas to impart on a threadbare squad as a result. I expect it to be Lampard and although he does well with youth so Palace have a burgeoning excess of talent there or has that dried up with the emergence of Wan-Bissaka and to a lesser extent Mitchell? Eze and Zaha do not make a premier league standard team.

Well the u18s are top of the table 11 points clear of BHA and the U23s won their play off final and will play Sunderland in the final, so might well be in Prem 1 next season. So there looks to be talent there. Although how many would be good enough for 1st team football is the same question most clubs have.

Burnley.....Its their time. Good run but maybe one recovery too many.
Wolves.....Particular project built around a Portugese base. Vulnerable to any change in the dynamic e.g Nuno leaving and taking 1-2 with him.
Saints.......Ings goes....they are f--kd. Pound for pound kept their heads above water after various collapses.

West Ham - if they make the EL .... Thursday night games across Europe, whilst their EPL weekend oppponents have a lovely week's prep, are a huge hindrance.

I think you could be wrong about Newcastle and Burnley.
I think Arsenal will be mid to lower mid table.

City only won 3 of their first 8 games and were languishing in 13th by late November. I'd say West Ham did a LOT better than expected too - I thought they'd be in the relegation mix, or at least only just above it. I can't imagine (m)any people thought they would be in with a sniff of champions league with a handful of games to go. I haven't looked, but I suspect West Ham will win the handicap league title with most if not all bookies (I doubt they'll be paying much out other than to a handful of very optimistic hammers)

To answer the OP my picks are:

Saints - for all the reasons mentioned a few times above
Villa - started well this year, but I think Dean Smith is being found out. Sockboy might leave or have another spell out injured and they will struggle without him
Burnley - but only if Dyche leaves. If they keep him, they will trundle on as they always do

On my boozy lunchtime gig with a friend yesterday we got to chatting football (as you do!). The conversation came round to which Premier League teams will have an awful season next time around but with a couple of caveats - do not include the Albion, or any of the promoted sides (who probably will struggle anyway).

So what we’re looking for are clubs that, for whatever reason, are going to fare well below expectation and may or may not be in a relegation dog fight. Anywhere, here goes with my selection :

Tottenham - Who are crippled by a huge debt from their new stadium, a revolving door manager policy, Kane rumoured to want out and their annual Spursy dilemma as soon as THEY think they’re the best team in the world, this occurs around mid-October. A mid to lower table finish.

Southampton - a lot of internal strife with a lack of leadership from the top. The current owners want to sell but it seems no one is interested. Many bang average players on huge wages but no other clubs are interested in taking them. The one player, Danny Ings, who has kept them out of the relegation zone is rumoured to be moving (Everton?). All in all things are not looking good. Relegation beckons next year.

Burnley - I just think that Sean Dyche will not be able to motivate his players anymore. They have tended to struggle in the first half of the season and then turn it around from January. I reckon next season will see them suffer the drop.

Dishonourable mentions for relegation : Leeds - second season syndrome, similar to Huddersfield and Sheffield United. Palace, because it’s about f***ing time!
